Edgewater Station is a Transperth railway station located 23 kilometres (14.3 mi) north-northwest of Perth railway station in Western Australia, on the Joondalup Line.HistoryThe station was built over the period 1990-1992 for the original opening of the Joondalup Line.The car park has been upgraded to increase parking capacity at the station. This included more Pay 'n' Display bays, more free parking bays, and a new drop-off area. Some other parts of the car park have been redesigned to create a smoother flowing car park.In June 2011, the station was upgraded to include a lift (previously only a ramp existed) and a larger undercover area.LocationEdgewater Station is located in the median strip of the Mitchell Freeway, just north of Ocean Reef Road.
